Sanctum Coccoon
This ornamental duck pond is the sole remnant of Dublin’s 1907 World Fair, when the now peaceful park was packed with 2,750,000 visitors. Today the pond, shaded by century-old trees is the home of fish, ducks, birds and plants, and a quiet refuge for Dubliners on their lunch break or afternoon off who sit with a book by its banks wondering what gives it its shocking shade of chartreuse green.

Horizonless
We surge out to the cliffside from the shadows of a tunnel. Our pulses suddenly outpace the rhythm of our train as we hurtle through space, sweeping across the open bay along the edge of a cliff. Our senses are drenched in the horizonless expanse before us.
Our faces are pressed against the glass for fear of missing any of this endless symphony, arranged from a chorus of sand, sea and sky.

Silver Shore
My journey as a weaver began on this shoreline at Cultra, Co. Down. I was mesmerised by the shimmering symphonies of nature: the constantly changing dance between the sun and the sea. In this cloth, through its woven structure alone, I’ve encoded the very physicality of that dance in natural linen and silk.
