Daylight in Dublin Bow-tie
€165.00

The light rolls in over Dublin from the east, surveying the rippling waves of the river Liffey, weaving its way under and over the city's stone and iron bridges. The early-risers read their morning papers, crossing south to north and north to south, marching to the beat of their in-ear playlist...

Ancient leather-polished slabs of granite shimmer in the changing light, sheltering tiny flowers in their cracks, picked out in vivid electric green along with haloed canopies of gnarled Limes and London Plane trees overhead. But everything begins to give way to a somehow friendly cold blue light.

Horizonless

We surge out to the cliffside from the shadows of a tunnel.   Our pulses suddenly outpace the rhythm of our train as we hurtle through space, sweeping across the open bay along the edge of a cliff.   Our senses are drenched in the horizonless expanse before us.

Our faces are pressed against the glass for fear of missing any of this endless symphony, arranged from a chorus of sand, sea and sky. Read more & watch our video below

Silver Shore

My journey as a weaver began on this shoreline at Cultra, Co. Down. I was mesmerised by the shimmering symphonies of nature: the constantly changing dance between the sun and the sea. In this cloth, through its woven structure alone, I’ve encoded the very physicality of that dance in natural linen and silk.

Silver Shore
Shawl

This woven Silk & Linen Shawl takes us to Belfast Lough, awakening in light, transforming from silver-grey to intense blues, golds, roses and greens.

Flowers in the Light - Light Blue and Purple Lavender Handmade Silk Wedding Handfasting Ribbon
€175.00

Embroider the couple's initials on either end of the ribbon and the date of the ceremony in the middle, for a personal touch. Just add embroidered monogramming and let us know how you’d like it to be personalised.

Flowers in the City

5:30AM - First Light: Greek Street / Mary’s Lane. While Dublin sleeps the Victorian wholesale market is a whir of voices and forklifts.

Fruit, veg and flowers bought and sold.

12:00PM - Noon: Grafton Street. The ‘flower ladies’ have been a burst of colour here for 300 years, selling simple blooms that say so much.

8:30PM - Dusk - Time and space to sit and savour... to notice:

The delicate petals of the magenta iris and its silver-green stem are split by the tiniest sliver of chartreuse. Well-crafted details are what make life less ordinary, sometimes they’re imperceptible, sometimes all it takes to be inspired is to notice.

Handfasting ceremonies at weddings are said to be an ancient Celtic tradition, where the hands of the couple are bound with a piece of cloth, or ribbon, symbolising their life-long union.

Our handfasting ribbons are 185cm x 2.5cm (17in x 1in), making them the perfect length, and the twisted tassels at either end are an added dimension of meaning for the couple.
