Olive Green / Sky Blue All-Silk Self-tie Bow Tie
This fully handcrafted Self-Tie Bow Tie is woven from my own unique silk cloth, specially developed to reflect light and change colour as its inspiration does in nature. Each piece is reversible, with multiple designs possible in each piece.
The product images you're seeing are of the actual bow-tie you'll be purchasing. If you'd like to see images tied up in a specific way, or in a specific light, just ask.
I've designed these authentic self-tie dickie bows so that you can also wear them pre-tied. Unclip the t-hook from the sizing ribbon, feed it back through the loop on the other tail of the neck loop, and you can store the bow tie flat or tied.
Some find it easier to rotate the tie back-to-front and use a mirror. I want you to be able to wear your tie so just ask if you have any questions about re-tying.
You can have your tie presented either flat and untied or tied up to reveal one of the three hand-cut woven variants.

100% Silk
Handmade in Dublin, Ireland
Collar size: 13-18 inches (33-46cm)
Care instructions: Dry clean or spot clean only
Do not wash. Specialist Dry Clean Recommended. To remove odours, air outside. For optimum results, spot clean any staining immediately by dabbing or blotting with a baby-wipe. Never apply bleach or harsh chemicals. Never Machine Wash. Iron on low/wool setting, avoid using steam. Place a clean cloth or towel underneath your tie when ironing. Ensure iron is clean or use a cover sheet to protect from marks.
Abrasion against a beard or stubble can cause pilling and hazing on all natural fibres. If this occurs, unmake tie, iron flat, and de-pill using a cashmere de-piller or trim any fuzzing and pilling carefully using a scissors, holding scissors approximately 3mm or 1/8th of an inch above the surface. If you need any help, or damage your tie, we offer a lifetime restoration service.
Your bow-tie can be stored flat or left tied. To assemble pre-tied, feed the t-hook through the metal loop and into a button hole with the sizing ribbon on the inside. If using a mirror, you can rotate tie back to front to clip it into position more easily.

Howth Head
On the north end of Dublin Bay, dense gorse bushes stretch out to an azure sea, consuming the headland in green, red & yellow.
Trails of karst, craggy shards of quartzite & mudstone mirror the moving clouds in every shade of umber & ochre.
